Privacy

Short version: we collect the minimum needed to run a moderated review site, we never sell it, and photos are scrubbed of hidden metadata before display.

What we collect and why

• Review submissions — rating, text, price paid, purchase details, and any photos/videos you upload. This is the site's purpose; it's published after moderation.
• Optional contact email — used only to contact you if someone formally disputes your review (our notice-and-takedown process under the Defamation Act 2013). Never displayed, never used for marketing.
• IP address at submission — kept privately for rate limiting and abuse prevention (a legal duty under the DMCC Act 2024 to police fake reviews). Never displayed.
• Report submissions — your name (optional) and email, used to process the complaint and reply to you.

Photo metadata

Uploaded photos are re-encoded before display, which strips hidden metadata — including GPS location. The photo you took at home does not reveal where home is.

What we don't do

• No sale or sharing of personal data with third parties.
• No advertising trackers or third-party analytics cookies.
• No marketing email — we don't even have a mailing list.

Your rights

UK GDPR applies. You can request a copy of data we hold about you, or its deletion (including withdrawing a review — use the code shown when you submitted, or the report form on the product page). Complaints about our data handling can go to the ICO (ico.org.uk).
